What to Expect for Your Session

Before making an appointment, please read through these contraindications to ensure that you are a candidate for safely receiving a massage. Once you text me and make an appointment, I will send you several forms that you will need to fill out and email back to me before your appointment date. My email address is thefasciaheeler@gmail.com.

I will arrive at your doorstep with my massage table and supplies right at our appointment time. I request that you please shower and make sure that your feet are clean before I arrive. I will not massage dirty feet. Thank you!

Please have the following ready for me:

  1. An indoor, enclosed room in your house where we can do the massage that is quiet, free of distractions, large enough to fit a massage table and has enough room for me to comfortably move around the table. So, at least 10 x 12 feet (120 square feet) of space is needed.
  2. Easy access to a sink/running water and hand soap.
  3. A chair for me to sit on when doing your neck, face & scalp. If you don’t have a chair, a pillow for me to kneel on would be the next best option. (“Traditional Massage” only).

After setting up my massage table and supplies in our designated working room, I will have you come in and we will go over your health history/questions/concerns and what to expect in the session. Then, I will leave the room and have you get undressed to your comfort level and lay face down (prone), underneath the sheet.

After you are finished getting ready, I will knock on the door and enter the room with your consent.

NOW, THE ACTUAL MASSAGE BEGINS!

When our session has come to an end, I will step out of the room, have you get redressed, check in with you to see how you’re feeling, wash my hands, put my equipment away/clean up, and finally, put everything back in my car.

I will text or email you aftercare instructions. Please feel free to text or e-mail me with any questions or concerns you may have, before or after our time together.
